Recently, foreign students of the Medical Academy of Kyrgyzstan named after I. K. Akhunbayev became the winners of the anniversary International Student Speech contest "Aitmatov in our heart: we love and are proud!", dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Kyrgyz writer Chingiz Aitmatov. The Republican event, organized on the basis of one of the capital's universities, became a platform for popularizing the work of the great artist of the word, as well as developing the educational, cultural and spiritual level of young people of different nationalities.

Students of KSMA Wada Maryam, Saqib Shamim, Mohsin Raza, M. Mumen Zeino and Ozer Ahmad, as well as their leaders-Head of the Department of Russian Language, Associate Professor G. Kulbaeva, teachers A. Soronkulova and T. Mamytov were awarded with Diplomas of the First Degree and Thanksgiving Letters.
