Today, on March 26, 2021, at the regular meeting of the Academic Council of the Medical Academy of Kyrgyzstan, the Rector of the KSMU, Professor Indira Kudaibergenova, on behalf of the members of the Academic Council, cordially congratulated Academician Mitalip Mamytov, MD, Professor Keneshbek Yrysov, MD Elmira Mamytova on receiving the Academic Prize named after I. K. Akhunbayev of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic in 2021 for a significant contribution to the development and popularization of science.   

Also, the staff of the Department of Hospital Surgery, Professor A.Sopuev, A. Mambetov, N. Mamatov, N. Bigishev, E. Kudayarov, S. Turdaliev and D. Ibraev were awarded the gold medal and the certificate of the International Book Fair of Special Scientific Publications for their scientific articles "Some modern ideas about the postoperative adhesive process in the abdominal cavity" and "The dynamics of the spread and risk factors for the development of gallbladder polyps".

By the decision of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Kyrgyz Republic dated February 25, 2021, Zhamila Chyngysheva, Head of the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care before and after postgraduate Training, was awarded the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences. 

At the meeting of the Academic Council, there were other awards. Head teacher of the Department of Physical Education N. Tashpolotov and assistant professor of the Department G. Eren were awarded a Letter of Thanks by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, teachers of the Department of the Kyrgyz language Zh. Duishenalieva, Zh. Anarbayeva with badges "Yiyik til" of the society "Kyrgyz tili" for the development of the State language, 2nd year student of the Faculty of Medicine S.Tokoyev received a diploma of the first degree of the Republican competition of the International-Kyrgyz-Uzbek University for the 120th anniversary of X.Karasaeva.
