Three excellent students of the medical school at the Medical Academy of Kyrgyzstan named after I. K. Akhunbayev, namely, Zhumabek kyzy Gulnur, Kanimetov Kairat and Sharshenbayev Samat, received scholarships from the Korean Center for the Blind "Siloam". The award ceremony was held yesterday, September 19, 2018 in the building of the Parliament of the Republic with the participation of Deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh Dastan Bekeshov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Ha Taek, as well as representatives of the centers "Equal Opportunities" and "Siloam".

The director of the medical school at the KSMA, Nazgul Asanbekova, thanked the patrons for the support of future massage therapists.

During the meeting, the issues of coordination and specialization of health and education services, the creation of a regional reference laboratory for infectious diseases in the pilot economic corridor Almaty - Bishkek within the framework of the Central Asian Cooperation Program (CAREC) were discussed. The role of the university in the successful implementation of this Program is determined.
