The 14th World Conference on Bioethics and the Coronavirus Pandemic is being held on March 10-11, 2021. This year it takes place virtually. The World Conference offers its participants an international online platform for fruitful scientific discourse in the field of bioethics and world health, covid-19 and human rights, medical ethics and professional integrity, and health justice.
The conference is organized by the UNESCO Department of Bioethics at the University of Haifa (Israel) and the University of Porto (Portugal) Under the auspices of the following organizations: World Medical Association (WMA), International Federation of Medical Students ' Associations (IFMSA), World Federation of Medical Education (WFME), CPME-Standing Committee on Medicine of Europe - Standing Committee of European Doctors, Association of Medical Education in Europe (AMEE).
The organization and work of the conference involved 232 branches of the international network of the UNESCO Chair of Bioethics, located in universities on five continents, including the UNESCO Chair of Bioethics at the Department of Public Health and Public Health of the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy named after I. K. Akhunbayev.
The target groups are: members of ethics committees, doctors, forensic experts, nurses, teachers and methodologists of medical higher education institutions, medical schools, law schools, schools of social work, faculties of philosophy and ethics, professional organizations, government and state bodies.
