Recently, an international seminar on COVID-19 was held online, where the speaker was an infectious disease specialist, professor from Japan Kato Yasuyuki.

He told the seminar participants about the preparation of guidelines for the clinical management of patients with COVID-19 and about current updates in the scientific field. The working language of the seminar organized by the Japan International Cooperation Agency in the Kyrgyz Republic was English.

The seminar was attended by 30 teachers of various departments of the Medical Academy of Kyrgyzstan named after I. K. Akhunbayev.
