These days, solemn events dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the people's writer of the Kyrgyz Republic Chingiz Aitmatov are held all over the world. On November 20,the"International Student Festival "Aitmatov in our heart: we love and are proud!", organized by the Faculty of Journalism of the K. Karasayev BSU, summed up the results.  The festival, which started on April 18, 2018, was held in three stages. The jury reviewed 400 works by participating students from near and far abroad. The commission, which accepted the submitted works, noted not only the active, but also the mass participation of students from KSMA. So, "... of all the works submitted for the competition, 30 were made by students of the medical academy and all of them were worthy of encouragement, " the jury members admitted. For example, they sent their works to the competition: from the BSU named after K. Karasaev-22, KUU named after I. Arabaev-1; OsMU-7; KSUA-4; MSLU named after M. V. Lomonosov-3; Moscow State Linguistic University-1, etc.

To meet the anniversary date, as part of the solemn event, a competition of TV and photo reports, the best compositions, and author's poems dedicated to the anniversary of the writer was held at the Department of Russian Language of the I. K. Akhunbayev KSMA.

First-and second-year students of the Faculties of Medicine, Pediatrics, Dentistry, MPD and Pharmacy have done a lot of work, creating booklets for the photo exhibition, collecting facts from the life of the writer, writing essays, drawing portraits and getting acquainted with films based on the works of the famous classic. The result of the collective and independent creative activity of groups of medical students were bright photo reports, essays, essays, wall newspapers, graphic portraits of Ch. Aitmatov, articles and reports. The jury members particularly noted the video report prepared by the 1st year students of the Faculty of Medicine Alybayeva Ayana, Sutuev Arthur, Kerimalieva Nurayym and Dzhumabekov Kemel. Continuing the problem of school education, raised at the time by Ch. Aitmatov in the work "The First Teacher", the authors draw parallels with recent days. This work was awarded a diploma of the 1st degree in the category "For the best TV reportage".

The works of Chyngyshbai kyzy Mahabat, Aliya Anarkulova, Adilet Askerov, Gulzina Botoeva, Aelita Zhyldyzbekova, and Kristina Nikushkina were also awarded with diplomas "For active participation in the International Student Festival".

An acute social topic about drug addicts and drug addiction, which for the first time Ch. Aitmatov, in his novel "The Block", was discussed in the report of M. Toychuev – a 4th-year student of the Faculty of Medicine. Through the image of the main character, an honest, kind and decent person, the writer reflects the struggle of good with evil. Unfortunately, the great notionalist and humanist is not with us today, but the issues raised by him have not only not lost their relevance, but have also taken on threatening proportions.

First-year student of the Faculty of Pediatrics Babadzhanov Nursaid in the nomination "For the best author's poem" was awarded a diploma of the 2nd degree, and second-year student Zhyrgalbekov Asman received a diploma of the 3rd degree for a poem of his own composition.

The teachers who were the leaders of successful student works were awarded with thanksgiving letters: Head of the Department of Russian Language-G. B. Kulbaeva, teacher K. E. Toktogulov, senior teachers N. T. Moldokmatova, Ch. A. Murzabaeva, A. G. Soronkulova.

The diploma "For active participation in the International Student Festival" was also awarded to the composition of Kristina Nikushkina, a 2nd-year student of the Faculty of Pharmacy, who writes in her composition: "It is difficult to be a person, to remain one... In the novel "And the day lasts longer than a century", the writer compares our earth to the head of a baby: "The earth is fragile, like the head of a baby", as tender, unprotected, vulnerable and priceless…»If in the novel "The Mother Field" Aitmatov calls the earth "Mother" through the mouth of the heroine Tolgonai, then in the latest works we see that for him the Earth is already a child, an infant and it should be protected and protected. The main idea that the author tries to convey to his contemporaries : "People, do not destroy everything around you, come to your senses! Take care of the land! Take care of the people and children who live on it."

And we want to add on our own behalf: "People, take care of the memory of the great writer of our time!"
