Today, on September 5, 2019, the Medical Academy of Kyrgyzstan named after I. K. Akhunbaev and the State Committee for Defense Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic signed a cooperation agreement.

In accordance with the signed agreement, the parties undertake to organize practical training of residents, training and retraining of medical personnel on the basis of military hospitals of the Bishkek and Osh garrisons, the military polyclinic of the capital of the republic as a clinical base of the university.

The agreement includes clauses on joint work to improve the quality of medical care for military personnel, military pensioners, employees of the Armed Forces of the country, and members of their families, as well as on providing medical care to the military contingent using diagnostic, therapeutic and other equipment available in the military medical institutions of the department and the KSMA.

On the basis of military medical institutions of the State Medical Academy of the Kyrgyz Republic, an educational and pedagogical process is conducted for clinical residents of the Medical Academy.
