A family doctor from the United States, Mr. Paul Fonken, conducted a master class on otoscopy for clinical residents of the I. K. Akhunbaev KSMA within the framework of the seminar "The role of a family doctor in the development of regions", organized by the authorities of the Batken region.

The head of the Department of Family Medicine of Postgraduate Education of the Medical Academy of Kyrgyzstan, Professor Nurlan Brimkulov, as well as individual residents undergoing practical training in this field, also made a report at the seminar.

Foreign specialists and representatives of the university got acquainted with the practice of future family doctors and the work of their mentors from among local medical workers. We met with the Plenipotentiary Representative of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Batken region and his deputy in charge of social issues, including health care.
