As part of the Science Days at the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy named after I.K. Akhunbaev (KSMU), a significant event took place—the opening of a scientific and methodological corner in the library of the academy’s main building. This milestone marks an important step in the development of cooperation between KSMU and the Institute of Physiology named after I.P. Pavlov of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) as part of the work of the Pavlov International Resource Center for Innovative Biomedical and Educational Health Technologies (PMRC).
The opening of the corner is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Institute of Physiology named after I.P. Pavlov. This important occasion highlights the significance of a longstanding partnership between the two institutions aimed at advancing biomedical science, educational technologies, and supporting young researchers.

The ceremony was attended by:
•Maria Vasilievna Fazulyanova, Deputy Head of the Pavlov International Resource Center, Institute of Physiology (RAS, St. Petersburg),
•Ksenia Yuryevna Bogomolets, Dean of the Faculties of Medical Engineering and Higher Nursing Education at KSMU,
•Rustam Romanovich Tukvatshin, Professor and Academician of KSMU.

The scientific publications donated to the KSMU library by the Institute of Physiology include modern works in physiology, biomedicine, and other medical sciences. These materials will serve as an invaluable source of knowledge for students and faculty and will contribute to the implementation of scientific projects by young researchers.
“We are proud of our collaboration and hope that the donated materials will be useful for students and faculty, inspiring them to achieve new heights,” noted Maria Vasilievna Fazulyanova.

The opening of the scientific and methodological corner is another step in strengthening international cooperation in the scientific and educational spheres. The joint efforts of scientists from Russia and Kyrgyzstan contribute to the development of medicine, the training of a new generation of specialists, and the creation of innovative approaches to healthcare.
