Recently, the section on the study of headaches of the Kyrgyz Scientific Medical Society of Neurologists (KNMON) together with the Department of Neurology and Clinical Genetics named after A.M. Murzaliev of the KSMA named after I.K. Akhunbaev, with the support of the International Headache Society, conducted "The first master class on headache in Kyrgyzstan" with the invitation of leading experts from other countries.
The master class was conducted by Sait Ashina, (Harvard, USA) and Vera Osipova, professor (Moscow, Russia). More than 120 doctors from different regions of the republic took part in the master class. These are neurologists for children and adults, family doctors, therapists, pharmacologists, cardiologists and teachers of medical universities. During the event, associate professor of the Medical Academy Elmira Mamytova presented a lecture on secondary headache, and assistant Kunduz Karbozova reported on the results of ongoing work on migraine.
