The national team of the Medical Academy of Kyrgyzstan named after I. K. Akhunbaev took the third team place in the higher league of the Universiade -2019 among the universities of the country. The team consists of 12 students. Moreover, the guys have been winning prizes in prestigious competitions for several years.

According to their coach, senior teacher of the Department of Physical Education of KSMA Akylbek Tazabekov, the success of the team is the result of the tireless work of future doctors to improve their skills and will, as well as the constant care of the university administration about the development of sports.
