Today, in the Assembly Hall of the Medical Academy of Kyrgyzstan named after I. K. Akhunbayev, an anniversary conference of specialists in the field of mental health is being held –Psychiatric readings dedicated to the memory of the university professor Valery Vladimirovich Solozhenkin. It was organized by the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Kyrgyz Psychiatric Association, the Republican Center for Mental Health and the corresponding departments of the KSMА and KRSU.

The conference program includes a demonstration of a documentary film, as well as more than ten scientific reports and reports on the problems of psychology, psychiatry, and psychotherapy. 

 The Vice-Rector of the University for Academic Affairs, Professor Erkin Alymbayev, warmly welcomed the participants of the conference on behalf of the Medical Academy.

And on the eve of its official opening, the rector of the university, Professor Indira Kudaibergenova delivered parting words to the volleyball players and their fans.
