December 5, 2019 in the morphological building of the I.K. Akhunbayev hosted a flash mob dedicated to World AIDS Day and World Volunteers Day called “Communities for Change”. During the event, the Vice-Rector of the Medical Academy, Professor Keneshbek Yrysov, Director of the Republican AIDS Center Umutkan Chokmorova, Chief Specialist of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic Sharipa Suvanalieva, WHO Representative in Kyrgyzstan Nazira Artykova and doctor of the AIDS RC Tostukov Erkin.
They informed future doctors about the nature of this disease, modern ways to combat it, the formation of personal responsibility for their own health and the situation with HIV infection in the country. And future doctors with demonstrative numbers were able to demonstrate the problem of AIDS to the audience. Within the framework of the event, photo zones were organized with the help of the faculties of the IG and the MPD, and a poster competition among students was also announced.
According to the results of the competition, the first place was taken - Pukhraj, Sharik, Azam (faculty of IG 5 course 2 gr), second place - Kuzhanov Askat, Malikov Daniyar, Salamatov Abay (faculty of medical treatment 5 course 2 gr), third place - Zhamshitov Bekbolot Ryspek Aikol (faculty Pediatrics 5 course 9 gr)., Also awarded with letters of thanks from the Ministry of Health and KSMA named after IK Akhunbaeva are the most active volunteers of the university. The event was organized by the Department of Educational and Organizational - Mass Work, the World Health Organization and the Republican AIDS Center. I would like to especially note the WHO for the assistance provided in the form of gifts to volunteers.
