On June 9, 2019, in the mountains of the Oru-Sai area, which is located 35 kilometers from Bishkek, students and teachers of the I. K. Akhunbaev KSMA established the peak of the Medical Academy in honor of the 80th anniversary of the university.

The ascent to the summit with a height of 3861 meters and the installation of a sign there was carried out by enthusiasts from the KSMA, 22 people out of 32 reached the peak. The main initiators and organizers of this action are the Rector of the KSMA, personally the rector of the Medical Academy, Professor Indira Kudaibergenova. By order of the rector, the leaders of this group were: Imankhodzhaev D. A. and Brimkulov N. N.
