The head of the Department of Pharmacognosy and Chemistry of Medicines of the Medical Academy of Kyrgyzstan named after I. K. Akhunbaev A. Muratalieva and the teacher of the same department N. Amatova made a report at the international scientific and practical conference "Pharmaceutical education, modern aspects of science and practice", held at the Bashkir State Medical University.

Currently,six young scientists (N. Amatova, Zh.Mamatov, Sh. Torobekov, N. Zhalalov, M. Akynbekova and K. Satybaldiev) are studying at this university for postgraduate studies from one department of KSMA.

Meanwhile, five students of the Medical Academy (E. Amanbekov, N. Zhaly uulu, D. Zhakypova, Z. Muratbekova, Zh. Askarbekova) under the guidance of the teacher of this department A. Kolpakova took part in the VI All-Russian Olympiad in Organic Chemistry with international participation, dedicated to the International Year of the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements. The Olympiad was held at the First Moscow Medical University named after I. M. Sechenov.

Following the results of the Olympiad, representatives of the KSMA showed good results, and the 2nd-year student Zhaly uul Nursultan was awarded a diploma "For the best result".
