The Scientific Society of Young Scientists and Students (SSYSS) is a voluntary public organization of the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy named after I.K. Akhunbaev (KSMA). It is formed from postgraduate students, clinical residents, faculty members, and research staff of KSMA under the age of 35, as well as Doctors of Science under the age of 40 (at the time of election), and students who actively participate in the university’s scientific activities.
The purpose of its establishment is to unite young scientists and students, represent their interests, and assist them in improving their professional level through active participation in the development of applied and fundamental science, as well as to enable a fuller realization of the scientific potential of young scientists and students.
- facilitating the scientific, academic, and practical activities of young scientists and students of the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy named after I.K. Akhunbaev;
- uniting and coordinating the activities of all student scientific societies (SSS) of KSMA departments, as well as students engaged in research under the individual supervision of faculty members;
- assisting in the organization and conduct of research work by students and young scientists in departments and laboratories of the Scientific Center for Biomedical Research (SCBR);
- engaging youth in participation in the scientific, academic, and social life of KSMA;
- assisting in organizing and conducting scientific and practical conferences, seminars, and educational forums;
- facilitating international internships for young scientists to improve their professional qualifications;
- cooperating with Councils of Young Scientists of other organizations and universities;
- organizing and conducting competitions for the best scientific works among young scientists and students of KSMA;
- facilitating the presentation of the best scientific works of young scientists and students of KSMA at national and international conferences, symposia, and congresses.
