An Employee of KSMA Awarded the Gold Medal of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences

On December 11, the 30th anniversary conference of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences (RANS) was held in Moscow, bringing together leading scientists and representatives of the academic community from CIS countries. The forum once again confirmed the high authority of the Academy as one of the key centers for the development of science and education.

As part of the conference, a ceremonial award presentation took place, during which an employee of the I.K. Akhunbaev Kyrgyz State Medical Academy (KSMA) — Ilkham Torobekovich Murkamilov, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Faculty Therapy, Chairman of the Board of the Society of Specialists in Chronic Kidney Disease of Kyrgyzstan, and Corresponding Member of RANS — was awarded the Gold Medal of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences “For Innovative Work in the Field of Higher Education.”

On the same day, he delivered a presentation entitled “Chronic Kidney Disease as a Global Medical and Social Problem,” highlighting the worldwide nature of the disease and emphasizing the importance of involvement of scientific and educational institutions in addressing this challenge.

The anniversary conference of RANS served as an important platform for international scientific dialogue and for recognizing the achievements of KSMA representatives at a high academic level.
