Tamara Abayeva, Head of the Department of Normal and Topographic Anatomy of the I. K. Akhunbaev KSMA, and Masalbek Satybaldiev, Associate professor of the department, recently took part in the republican scientific and practical conference with international participation "Preventive Medicine: Today and tomorrow", which was held in the Uzbek city of Andijan.

During the two-day conference, about 700 scientific reports and reports were read by scientists from Russia, the United States, India, Poland, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and other countries.

Abayeva made a report on the topic "Morphological parameters of the thymus during the newborn period in different climatic and geographical conditions of Kyrgyzstan". She also answered the questions of the correspondent of the Republican television about the importance of preventive medicine in our days.

Teachers from the Medical Academy of Kyrgyzstan were awarded certificates of the conference.
