On 17.03.2021, the Rector of the university, Professor Indira Kudaibergenova, met with representatives of the project of the international medical organization "Doctors without Borders"at the Medical Academy of Kyrgyzstan named after I. K. Akhunbayev. 

The meeting was also attended by Vice-Rector for International Relations and Strategic Development Gulmira Dzhumaliyeva, Head of Volunteer Practice Zhamilya Maladbekova, Head of the Department of International Relations Turisa Yusupova and specialist of the Department of Industrial practice Venera Sultanaliyeva. 

During the meeting, the guests informed about the successful completion of the project and expressed their gratitude to the KSMA  for its support in promoting health issues, and also handed certificates to the 1st-year students of the Faculty of Medical Science about the successful completion of volunteer practice. 

It should be noted that Indira Orozobaevna presented "letters of thanks" to the project coordinator of the international medical organization "Doctors without Borders" David Mshauri Delem and the health promotion manager of the MMO "Doctors without Borders" Zhamila Usupova for their contribution to the development of the volunteer movement.

After the meeting, the guests visited the museum of the history of the university.
