Today, on November 13, 2019, within the framework of the Days of Kazakh Medicine in Kyrgyzstan,there was held  a ceremony of signing a new agreement on cooperation between the leading medical universities of the two countries, namely, the I.K. Akhunbaev and KAZNMU named after S.D. Asfendiyarov.

It was signed by the rector of the Medical Academy, Professor Indira Kudaibergenova and the rector of KAZNMU, Professor Talgat Nurgozhin. Both rectors stated that the newly signed agreement raises the mutually beneficial cooperation of these universities to a new quality level.
