On April 7, 2025, a meeting was held at the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy named after I.K. Akhunbaev with the delegation of the Scientific Research Institute for Rural Revitalization “Iskra” (PRC). During the meeting, the parties signed a framework agreement on international cooperation.

The Chinese delegation was led by the director of the institute, Mr. Liu Huanli. The delegation also included a translator and Professor Tashtanbay Ishenovich Sartov from I. Razzakov Kyrgyz State Technical University. From the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy, participants included Rector Indira Kudaibergenova, Vice-Rector Niyazbek Mamatov, Head of the Educational-Methodological Department Gulnara Isakova, and Head of the International Relations Department Turnisa Yusupova.

The agreement outlines the development of cooperation in the fields of medical education, scientific research, academic exchange, internships, and professional development. Special attention was given to strengthening ties between KSMA and the Binzhou City People’s Hospital — one of the largest medical institutions in Shandong Province.

This document marks an important step toward deepening bilateral cooperation within the framework of the “Belt and Road” initiative and opens new prospects for joint international projects in healthcare and education.
