Today, on August 23, 2018, an agreement on further cooperation between the two universities was signed between the I. K. Akhunbayev KSMA and the Hebei Medical University of China. On the Chinese side, the signing ceremony was attended by the Secretary of the KHMU Party Committee, Professor Jai Haihum, Dean of the first hospital Jao Zengren and Director of the Department of International Cooperation and Exchange Jang Jinkun, and on the Kyrgyz side, the heads of the KSMА headed by the rector of the university, Professor Indira Kudaibergenova.

On the eve of the signing of the agreement, the heads of KSMА and KHMU exchanged views.

It should be noted that the cooperation between the two medical universities was first established in 2012.

HMU is located in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province. It has 5 affiliated hospitals with 9,139 beds. The university also has 5 non-affiliated, 5 teaching hospitals and 28 facilities for clinical practice.
