Recently, the Republic of Crimea hosted an international scientific and practical conference on the topic: “Scientific and innovative potential for the development of production, processing and use of essential oils and medicinal plants".
The conference was attended by scientists from Russia, Belarus,Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. They made presentations on six main topical issues of essential oils and medicinal crops.
Kyrgyzstan was represented by the head of the Department of Pharmacognosy and Chemistry of Medicines, Associate professor of the I. K. Akhunbaev KSMA A. Muratalieva, the teacher of the named department A. Kalpakova and the 3rd-year student of the Faculty of Pharmacy D. Zhakypova.
According to Anarbyubyu Muratalieva, during the conference, agreements and a memorandum of cooperation (scientific research, bases for training practice) were signed between the parties.
The main outcome of the conference is a draft resolution on the prospects for the development of interregional and international cooperation in the production and processing of essential oils and medicinal plants within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union.
