Recently, Vice-Rector for International Relations and Strategic Development of the Medical Academy of Kyrgyzstan named after I. K. Akhunbaev, Professor Gulmira Dzhumalieva met with representatives of the Institute of Scientific, Technical and Language Studies (STLI) of Bishkek, National Director and Development consultant Graeme Harden, doctors Chris Hinton and Amanda Merit. The meeting was also attended by the head of the Department of Family Medicine of Postgraduate Education Nurlan Brimkulov, the head of the Department of International Relations Turisa Yusupova and the resident of the 2nd year Shirin.
During the meeting at the administrative level, the prospects of possible cooperation in the field of training of medical mentors in the regions, that is, "training for trainers", were discussed. It should be noted that in March of this year, representatives of STLI and teachers of KSMA, headed by the head of the Department of Family Medicine Nurlan Brimkulov, discussed the future participation in rural family medicine.
The beginning of cooperation will be the signing of an agreement of intent after the approval of the draft agreement.
