On 22 January 2024, representatives of the Russian Federation from Tyumen city arrived to the Kyrgyz Medical Academy: Ekaterina Vladimirovna Ilyina - Executive Director of Limited Liability Company "Razvitie", Dmitry Viktorovich Bazhukhin - General Director of JSC Medical and Sanitary Unit "Neftyanik" to discuss the current cooperation on training of residents.

The guests from the Russian Federation met with the management of the university headed by Rector I. Kudaibergenova and Vice-Rector for International Relations and Strategic Development G. Dzhumalieva, as well as with the heads of departments, faculty members of the university to discuss topics such as: training programmes, organisation of the educational process, distance learning, conducting examinations for training, etc. Afterwards, they visited clinical bases: the Department of Dermatovenerology and the Medical Centre of KSMA. At the end of the meeting they discussed general and organisational issues and action plans for further cooperation.
