The other day on October 19, 2019, in the morphological building of the KSMA, a Fair of student scientific circles was held with the participation of all departments of the university. The circle fair is held annually in order to familiarize students with the work of scientific circles, to attract active students to the development of the scientific activities of the university. Within the framework of this fair, organized by the Society of Young Scientists and Students (NOMUS), the competition "The best student scientific circle of the KSMA named after I.K.Akhunbaev for the 2019-2020 academic year" was announced, the purpose of which is to activate, develop and recognize the activities of the SNK.

According to the results of the competition, the nomination "Best Scientific Circle" and 1st place was awarded to the student scientific circle of the Department of Hospital Surgery with the course of operative surgery named after Academician M.M. Mamakeev -148 points, the 2nd place was taken by the student scientific circle of the Department of Oncology - 146 points, 3 -the place was given  to the student scientific circle of the Department of Pharmacognosy and Chemistry of Medicines - 144 points.

Also, the student scientific circle of the Department of FGZ and HLS won the audience's sympathy prize by gaining 144 votes out of 544 of all votes. It should be noted that the fair was visited by the leadership of the KSMA, headed by the rector, Professor Indira Kudaibergenova. She noted the positive progresses  in the organization of scientific circles and asked the heads of departments and deans of faculties to improve the quality of their work in the future in accordance with the requirements of the time.
