Recently, the team of the Medical Academy of Kyrgyzstan named after I. K. Akhunbaev in freestyle wrestling took first place in the team competition at the tournament held in the city of Osh among the teams of the First League of the Universiade and entered the Top League. Ten wrestlers of the team won prizes and received gold, silver and bronze medals of the competition.

The student-athletes and their coach Kuanysh Mukashev were warmly congratulated on the victory by the Rector of KSMA, Professor Indira Kudaibergenova. In turn, the team members thanked the rector for his support and assistance during the preparation for the responsible tournament.
