December 1 is World AIDS Day. On this day, people from all over the universe unite to support people living with HIV.
World AIDS Day became the first International Day in 1988. Every year, AIDS Day raises an important theme that every State uses as a motto. In 2024, the World Motto was adopted as “HIV: education is your safety, treatment is your health.”
As of November 1, 2024, 14,159 HIV-infected people were identified in the Kyrgyz Republic, 3,551 people died. I.K. At the weekly event within the framework of the world motto “HIV: knowledge is your safety, treatment is your health” at the Akhunbayev Kyrgyz State Medical Academy, the Department of Infectious Diseases and students of the Galena Conclave organized information events, lectures, games for students of the Faculty of Medicine. The structure of the lecture shows the epidemiological situation in Dunn and Kyrgyzstan, preventive and post-contact measures, therapeutic goals, testing methods. Active participants and participants in games or contests were awarded prizes. The main sponsors were the teaching staff of the Department of Infectious Diseases of KSMА.
