Supporting Orphans: KSMU Representatives Visit Panfilov Boarding School

As part of an initiative by the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic and the State Committee for National Security (SCNS) aimed at supporting orphans and children deprived of parental care, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Keneshbek Yrysov and Vice-Rector for State Language and Educational Work Muskai Ismailbekov of the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy (KSMA) visited the K.Tilebaliev Panfilov Boarding School.

During the visit, the representatives of KSMA familiarized themselves with the living and learning conditions of the boarding school students and held discussions with graduates and teachers. Particular attention was paid to issues of career guidance and planning the future of the children.

Three graduates of the school expressed their desire to enroll in KSMA to dedicate their lives to medicine and helping people. The vice-rectors explained the specifics of university admission, academic programs, and learning prospects. Additionally, KSMA representatives answered students’ questions about medical professions and pledged to provide support during their preparation for entrance exams.

This meeting became a significant milestone for the students in determining their career paths and instilled confidence in their abilities. KSMA representatives emphasized that such meetings help children not only learn about opportunities but also feel that they are not left without care and support.
