Within the framework of the interinstitutional agreement between KSMA and the University of Eastern Finland, the Erasmus+ program provides academic mobility for KSMA students and teachers.
In 2018, KSMA already had the opportunity to implement one phase of academic mobility in this University, in which the lecturer of the Department of epidemiology Yrysova M. B. held guest lectures, and the resident of 1 year Shingareeva K. was trained at the University of Eastern Finland.
In 2019, KSMA updated the agreement with UEF and will implement the second phase of academic mobility.
In this regard KSMA announces a call for applications among the teachers and students of KSMA for participation in academic mobility.
Who can apply? Students, residents, graduate students interested in/dealing with issues in the field of Public Health, Epidemiology, Hygiene
The purpose of academic mobility: exchange training
Number of grants: 1 place
The duration of the academic mobility: 3 months
Place of study: University of Eastern Finland, Kuopio, Finland
Payment of expenses: full grant
Requirement to candidates:
- Excellent proficiency in English (Advanced, TOEFL level)
- Good academic performance
- Experience in working or conducting research in these areas
To participate in the call you must submit the following documents:
- CV in English with photo
- Motivation letter explaining why you are the right person to participate in this academic mobility
- The transcript of the diploma indicating the credit hours (ECTS)
- Certificate confirming the level of English proficiency

- Excellent command of English (Advanced, TOEFL)
- Availability of existing research works/projects in these areas
- Teaching experience over 5 years
- Availability of publications
To participate in the competition you must submit the following documents:
- CV in English with photo
- Description of the research work / project you are working on
- Confirmation of publications
- Certificate confirming the level of English proficiency
- Recommendation from the Head of the Department
